Over 12,000 residents in Zambales now fully vaccinated against COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – A total of 12,149 residents in Zambales have already received their second dose of the vaccine against COVID-1 as the province inches closer to achieving herd immunity.

The latest data from the provincial health office on Friday (July 9) showed that 33,341 residents had already received their first dose of the vaccine.

At least 45,490 doses of vaccines have already been administered in the province.

The province was given 28,914 doses of Coronavac (Sinovac) vaccines and 16,576 doses Astrazeneca (Oxford) vaccines by the national government for its mass inoculation.

The province needs to vaccinate 400,000 of its 590,800 residents to achieve herd immunity.
