Zambales posts 88-percent COVID-19 recovery rate

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – At least 92 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 in this province on Wednesday, an official said.

The latest data showed that the new recoveries were patients who had tested positive for the virus from May 18 to July 2.

With this, the total number of recoveries in the province has reached 3,143, which reflect an 88-percent recovery rate out of 3,569 infections since last year.

The province also added 31 new COVID-19 cases and five fatalities on the same day.

Zambales has at least 340 active cases and 85 deaths related to the viral disease. INQ
