Olongapo City keeps downward trend in new COVID-19 cases
OLONGAPO CITY—For five consecutive days, the number of active COVID-19 cases in this city was on a downward trend, as more patients recover from the viral disease.
Local data showed that at least 16 patients recovered on Wednesday, while 14 got infected.
The latest COVID-19 patients are aged 18 to 83.
The city’s active cases started going down on July 4, from 216 to 205.
The days after saw a consistent downward trend.
As of July 7, the city has logged 2,636 COVID-19 cases since last year, but 86 percent (2,308) had healed.
