2 drug suspects caught with P714K ‘shabu’ in Pampanga
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—Policemen allegedly confiscated some P714,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) from two suspected drug peddlers during a buy-bust operation Wednesday in Santo Tomas town in this province.
In a statement, Pampanga police director Col. Arnold Thomas Ibay said provincial intelligence and drug enforcement operatives, along with the local police, arrested Richard Cayanan, 28, and Kennex Musngi, 26, at Barangay Moras Dela Paz in Santo Tomas town.
Ibay said the two were arrested after selling a small sachet of shabu to an undercover agent.
The police allegedly confiscated from the suspects three small heat-sealed transparent sachets and a knot-tied large plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 105 grams.
The suspects face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
