OLONGAPO CITY—About 200 more residents here received their second dose of Coronovac (Sinovac) shots as the City resumed Wednesday its COVID-19 vaccine rollout on Wednesday.

Most of those who returned to the vaccine site at the SMX Convention Center of SM Olongapo Central to complete their jabs were senior citizens and residents with ailments.

The city government said no additional supply of vaccines have arrived here yet for those waiting for their first dose.

Over 19,500 residents in the City have been inoculated against COVID-19, but only close to 5,000 received their second dose. The City has been administering the Sinovac vaccine from China and AstraZeneca from the U.K.

The turnout remained below the target for herd immunity, which is around 140,000 residents.
