MABALACAT CITY—The active COVID-19 cases in Tarlac province decreased by 101 after 118 patients recovered in a day, the provincial government said Tuesday, July 6.
Monday’s 1,132 active cases were reduced the next day to 1,031, which include the 17 new cases reported.
Of the 8,456 COVID-19 cases in the province since the pandemic began last year, at least 7,045 had recovered, while 380 had died.
Sixty-one of those who recovered from COVID-19 are residents of Tarlac City, 11 each of Bamban and Paniqui towns, 10 of Capas, nine of Gerona, six of La Paz, four each of Moncada and Victoria, and one each of Pura and San Jose towns.
The new cases include six residents of Tarlac City, five of Capas, three of Gerona, two of Concepcion, and one of Bamban.
The provincial government reported zero deaths on Tuesday.
