BACOLOD CITY—The matriarch of the family that owns the biggest bus company in the country has denied rumors that she had passed away.

“I’m not dead, I am very much alive and healthy,” said Olivia Yanson of the Yanson Group Bus of Companies on Sunday, July 4.

“Tell those people who want me dead, I love the Lord, and He will not let me die because I still have a mission in this world to help others,” she added.
