LUCENA CITY – A biker died after he was hit by a van along the Maharlika Highway in Pagbilao, Quezon on Friday night, police said Saturday.
The Pagbilao police reported that the bicycle rider, Catalino Gamban, 58, was rammed by a passenger van driven by Gilberto Lagran in Barangay Silangang Malicboy at around 8:30 p.m.
Gamban expired while being taken to MMG hospital in Lucena City due to serious injuries
The van driver has since been placed under police custody.
