Zambales inches closer to 400,000 jab target with 11,000 fully vaccinated
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—At least 11,214 residents were already fully vaccinated against SARS Cov2, the virus that causes COVID-19, according to the province’s top health official.
The number included at least 277 more individuals who got the second dose on Thursday (July 1).
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said at least 984 residents were also given their first dose of the vaccine on the same day.
So far, at least 31,699 residents had already received their first dose of the vaccine.
The province administered a total of 42,913 doses to residents on the list of priority groups like health workers, senior citizens and those with comorbidities, or preexisting health conditions.
