OLONGAPO CITY–At least four new cases of COVID-19 were recorded among the police workforce in Central Luzon, local health data showed on Thursday, July 1.

According to the health service of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), the new infections raised to 81 the active cases among its personnel.

But nine more infected PRO3 personnel have also recovered from the viral disease.

So far, at least 1,687 police workforce, including non-uniformed personnel, in the region had been cleared of COVID-19.

PRO3’s death toll related to the disease remained at five.
