COVID-19 death count in Zambales now at 80

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Five new fatalities related to COVID-19 were added to the tally in this province, raising to 80 its death toll, as of Wednesday, June 30.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said among the new fatalities were two women aged 64 and 86 from San Marcelino town

The other three were men aged 52 to 77 from Castillejos, Iba, and Sta. Cruz towns.

Bueno also reported 15 new patients and 23 new recoveries on the same day, bringing to 614 its active COVID-19 cases.

The province has listed 3,390 cases since last year. At least 2,695 of them had recovered from the disease. INQ
