A man from Iowa, United States has been arrested for allegedly making threats to bomb a local restaurant and hurt its staff because they did not give him dipping sauce for his chicken nuggets.
Robert Golwitzer Jr., 42, called a McDonald’s restaurant after receiving his order in the afternoon of Saturday, June 26, as per NBC affiliate WHO 13 last Monday, June 28.
The phone call also allegedly included a threat to blow up the restaurant and punch an employee after he found out that his order did not include any dipping sauce.
Police reached out to Golwitzer using the phone number that he used to call the restaurant, according to a criminal complaint filed in the case.
The suspect reportedly admitted to making the threats during his call with the officers and in a later interview at the local police department.
Golwitzer has been charged with felony due to a false report of explosive or incendiary device. He was booked into a local county jail on Saturday, June 27, and released on bond the following day. Dana Cruz/JB
