Bacolod records 54 COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday
BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The COVID-19 deaths in this city this month hit 54 on Tuesday, June 29, according to the city administrator, Em Ang.
Ang, who is also the Emergency Operations Center executive director, said the deaths in June were the second highest in a month since the pandemic started.
The highest recorded was 76 in September 2020.
Ang said Bacolod City currently has 331 COVID-19 deaths.
Bacolod also has 3,476 COVID-19 cases in June for a total of 13,255 since the pandemic started, Ang said.
