SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — An additional 1,164 residents in this province received their first dose of the vaccine against COVID-19, an official said on Wednesday (June 30).
Citing local data, Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said 318 others received their second dose.
A total of 30,218 priority recipients had already been inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccine.
About 10,700 of them had received the second dose or are now fully vaccinated.
This is only 2.6 percent of the 400,000 population that the provincial government targets to vaccinate in order to achieve herd immunity.
