Magnitude 4.7 quake jolts Sarangani

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck Sarangani, Davao Occidental on Wednesday morning, the state volcanologists reported.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake occurred 185 kilometers east of Sarangani, Davao Occidental around 7:36 in the morning of Wednesday.

Phivolcs said no intensities were felt in any areas, while there are also no expected damage and aftershocks.
