300 grams of meth seized in Cagayan de Oro raids

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY——A total of 300 grams of crystal meth or shabu were seized by authorities from three suspects arrested in a drug buy-bust operation here on Monday (June 28).

In a report of the Regional Special Operation Unit (RSOU) of the Northern Mindanao police, the suspects were identified as Liezel Galagar, 34, Joemar Cartajena, 24, and Antonina Padalapat, 32.

They were caught in possession of five packs of meth of varying sizes in a den in the village of Upper Carmen.

The haul of illegal drugs was estimated to be valued at P2.04 million when sold on retail.

The report also cited that apart from dealing with illicit drugs, Padalapat was also involved in other illegal activities.

The three suspects were detained at the RSOU facility while charges are being prepared against them.
