PH expects delivery of 13.3 million COVID-19 vaccine doses in July – Galvez

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines is expecting to receive 13.3 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines in July, Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr, the country’s vaccine manager, said on Monday during the taped weekly Palace briefing on the COVID-19 situation with President Rodrigo Duterte.

Following are the vaccine deliveries expected:

Galvez said the doses donated by the US government would likely be the single-dose vaccine from  Johnson & Johnson,.

According to the Department of Health, over 10 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine had been administered as of June 27.

More than 2.5 million individuals were already fully vaccinated — that is, they have received two doses.
