/ 08:20 AM February 14, 2012

Downtown parking is premium and space outside City Hall may not be free for long.

Cebu City Vice Mayor Joy Augustus Young said he wants to convert the open space of Plaza Sugbo into a pay parking area to regulate its use.

The vice mayor said most  motorists who use the space aren’t transacting business in City Hall.

“That lot (in Plaza Sugbo) is for City Hall customers and those with business in  City Hall offices,”  said Young.
