MANILA, Philippines — The mega vaccination hub at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) High Street will be extending its vaccination hours until 12 midnight starting Monday, the Taguig City government said Sunday.

The vaccination site located on the second floor of B7, Lane P, Bonifacio High Street East, will cater exclusively to economic frontliners belonging to the A4 category.

The city government said this is in line with efforts to extend vaccination hours to accommodate those who cannot get inoculated due to the nature of their work.

Meanwhile, Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano assured that curfew hours will not affect those who will get vaccinated as long as they have an appointment slip.

“There should be not much concern about workers getting vaccinated beyond curfew hours. Since by appointment naman lahat ng vaccination in Taguig, they can simply show their appointment slip to the enforcers if needed,” said Cayetano in a statement.

The Mega Vaccination Hub Bonifacio High Street will start its midnight operations this week until the city reaches its goal of round-the-clock operations.

Taguig has so far vaccinated a total of 238,853 individuals across the A1 to A4 categories. It plans to vaccinate at least 680,000 eligible individuals by the end of the year.

As of June 26, the city has recorded a total of 28,930 cases of COVID-19, with 498 active cases, 27,623 recoveries, and 296 deaths.
