P124K ‘shabu’ seized in Angeles, Tarlac cities
ANGELES CITY, Pampanga—Policemen confiscated about P124,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations Tuesday in Angeles City and Tarlac City, the Central Luzon police disclosed.
In a statement, the regional police said three people identified as Jayson Martinez, Jomar Andap and Snooky Benitez were arrested in a sting operation at Barangay Pampang in this city.
The police allegedly seized from the trio eight sachets of shabu weighing seven grams with a street value of P47,600.
The regional police said a separate buy-bust operation in Tarlac City resulted in the arrest of Jabar Malie, Hafiz Abdulrahman, Mohammad Yasser, and Paolo Miguel Manzano.
Police said 73 pieces of small sachets of shabu with street value of P76,500 were allegedly confiscated from the suspects.
All arrested suspects were detained and are facing charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
