Loren Legarda
MANILA, Philippines — Antique Rep. Loren Legarda is eyeing a Senate comeback in 2022 under the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC).
Legarda told reporters on Monday night that the Senate was her “second home,” adding that there was an “urgent need” for her to continue her “unfinished task” as senator.
“Yes, I confirm that I intend to go back to my second home, which is the Senate, and I have already consulted the political leaders and the people of Antique,” she said.
Legarda first served as a senator in 1998. In 2004, she ran for vice president but lost.
