Cop dies in vehicular accident in Palawan
CITY OF CALAPAN—A policeman died in a vehicular accident on Tuesday early morning in Brooke’s Point town in Palawan province, according to a report from Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan (Mimaropa) police office.
Police Corporal Romel Pablico, 33, while driving his motorcycle at around 2:30 a.m. on his way home crashed into a steel barrier without reflectorized signage as he approached the bridge being constructed along the national highway in Barangay (village) Calasaguen.
Pablico was assigned at the 1st Palawan Provincial Mobile Force Company in Sofronio Española town. He was a resident of Barangay Pangobilian in Brooke’s Point.
Pablico was taken to the Southern Palawan Provincial Hospital but died along the way due to serious head injury.
