TAGBILARAN CITY—The vaccination of persons with comorbidities has started in this city.

Mayor John Geesnell Yap said city residents with medical conditions would receive the COVID-19 vaccine at five centers, namely Bool Elementary School, Tagbilaran City Central School, Dao Elementary School, Booy Covered Court, and Tagbilaran City College.

Some comorbidities that make people susceptible to COVID-19 are chronic respiratory disease, diabetes, obesity, neurologic disease, chronic kidney disease.

Yap said those who wish to be inoculated must bring a medical certificate, prescriptions, or hospital records to prove they have pre-existing medical conditions.

The vaccination of senior citizens continued on Monday.

Walk-in residents will be accepted if there are available slots.

Yap called on residents to be vaccinated to protect themselves against COVID-19.
