P720K marijuana seized in Santiago City

SANTIAGO CITY––A 24-year-old man was caught with P720,000 worth of dried marijuana and seeds during a buy-bust operation in this city, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cagayan Valley said Thursday, June 17.
Narciso Buen Jr., a resident of Divisoria village and an employee of a telecommunications company, yielded six kilos of dried marijuana bricks in tubular rectangular form and marijuana seeds.
He was charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
In Nueva Vizcaya, two drug suspects were also arrested in another buy-bust operation.
Johnny Crisostomo Jr., 51, and Jacquiline Castillano, 35, were nabbed Wednesday while selling a sachet of alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover agent in Bambang town. INQ
