MANILA, Philippines — The local governments of Quezon City and Valenzuela have started to inoculate workers after work hours so they will not have to skip work to get their anti-coronavirus jabs.

“Bakuna Nights” in Quezon City was rolled out on Wednesday night and will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bakuna Nights will run until Saturday and will expand to other sites, depending on the availability of vaccine supply, according to Quezon City’s Task Force Vax to Normal co-chair Joseph Juico.

On Monday, another vaccination site at Justice Eliezer Delos Santos National High School in Barangay Ugong will be converted into a vaccination site for industrial workers. The site will implement a shifting schedule on Wednesday. —NIKKA G. VALENZUELA
