Cops seize P74K worth of shabu from 3 drug suspects in Pampanga
ANGELES CITY—Policemen on Tuesday arrested three suspected drug peddlers who yielded some P74,000 worth of crystal meth (“shabu”) in two separate buy-bust operations here and the City of San Fernando.
The Central Luzon police identified the arrested suspects as Bernie Suarez, 33; Reylan Pineda, 33; and Eliza Yco, 53.
Suarez was caught in Northville 15, Barangay Cutud here after selling a sachet of shabu to an undercover agent. Allegedly seized from him were three sachets of suspected shabu weighing seven grams with a street value of P47,000.
In Barangay San Agustin, City of San Fernando, the police arrested Pineda and Yco during a separate anti-illegal drugs operation.
Police allegedly confiscated four grams of shabu worth P27,000 from the duo.
The three suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Article continues after this advertisementMeanwhile, the police arrested Tuesday a suspected car thief in Barangay Telabastagan, City of San Fernando.
The police identified the suspect as Jordan Ibañez, 24, a resident of Angeles City, who was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Irineo Pangilinan Jr. of Angeles City Regional Trial Court Branch 58 with no bail recommended.
