4 drug suspects yield P136k shabu in Bacoor City

LUCENA CITY—Police arrested on Tuesday four drug suspects and seized P136,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Bacoor City.

The Calabarzon police reported that anti-illegal drugs operatives in Bacoor City nabbed Jonathan Bernardino, Bob Hona, Merlyn Diosay, and Ronald Bernardino after the group sold a pack of shabu to a police agent in Barangay San Nicolas 3 at 12:45 a.m.

Authorities seized 14 sachets of shabu weighing 20 grams valued at P136,000 and an electronic weighing scale.

The suspects were detained and are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
