COVID-19 infects 45 more PNP personnel in Central Luzon

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—The health service of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) reported 45 new COVID-19 cases among its workforce, including non-uniformed personnel.

In its latest data from June 14-15, the PRO3 said the new infections raised the active COVID-19 cases among its personnel to 246, including those in this province.

The figure pushed to 1,668 the number of personnel of the Philippine National Police in Central Luzon who had contracted the virus since last year.

Most of them contracted the virus while on duty.

But at least 1,417 of these cases have already recovered from the viral disease.

So far, the PRO3 logged five COVID-19 deaths among its personnel since last year.
