11.67 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines expected to arrive in July

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 11.67 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines are expected to be delivered in July, Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., the national vaccine manager, said Monday during the taped weekly briefing with President Rodrigo Duterte.

The deliveries will consist of 4.5 million doses of Sinovac, one million of Moderna, one million of Sputnik V, and 1.17 million of AstraZeneca.

Aside from this, another four million doses of Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines are expected to be delivered through the COVAX facility.

Meanwhile, 6.4 million doses of  Sinovac vaccines expected to arrive this month — 1.5 million doses on June 17 and one million doses on June 25.

Further, 250,000 doses of Moderna vaccines will arrive on June 25 and 2.028 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines, through the COVAX facility, will arrive by the third week of June Galvez said.

Also arriving this month are 150,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccines, as well as vaccine donations from the United States.

According to Galvez, the Philippines received 8.329 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines from February to May and another 4.376 million in June.
