MANILA, Philippines — Over 1.8 million individuals, including more than 7,000 economic frontliners, in the country have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, data presented by Malacañang showed.
In a Palace briefing Monday, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said that 6,870,054 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered as of Sunday, June 13.
Of these, 5,014,582 were administered as a first dose to over 1.4 million healthcare workers (A1), more than 1.7 million senior citizens (A2), 1.7 million persons with comorbidities (A3).
Some 127,614 economic frontliners (A4) whose vaccination started last week have also received their first dose.
Meanwhile, 1,855,472 individuals have already completed their vaccination against COVID-19, 7,020 of whom are economic frontliners.
According to Roque, a total of 9,329,050 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have so far arrived in the country.
The most recent arrivals are 2.2 million doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine and 100,000 doses of Sputnik V’s anti-COVID jab, which arrived in the country late last week.
