DIGOS CITY—A man wanted in Bukidnon province for an attempted murder committed 10 years ago was arrested by police officers in Davao del Sur on Friday (June 11).
Major Peter Glenn Ipong, police chief of Bansalan town, identified the suspect as Reynaldo Blancia Tondo, 61, of Managa village in Bansalan.
Ipong said Tondo did not resist arrest when the warrant for his arrest was served on Friday morning by a combined team of Bansalan and Bukidnon police officers.
Tondo has a standing arrest warrant issued by Judge Pelagio Estopia of the Regional Trial Court Branch 8 based in Malaybalay City. A bail of P120,000 was also recommended for his temporary liberty.
Ipong said Tondo is set to be brought to Malaybalay City to be presented before the court.
