SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– Three more workers of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) have tested positive for COVID-19, the agency announced Thursday.
Among the new cases are two frontline health workers-a 26-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman. They are both asymptomatic and on home quarantine.
The other patient is a 44-year-old woman who is an essential service worker. She showed mild-flu like symptoms and was also on home quarantine.
These new cases raised the total number of confirmed cases among SBMA employees to 98. At least 21 of these are active.
Data show that three SBMA employees had died of COVID-19 complications since last year.
