More COVID-19 vaccine doses arrive for Bicol
LEGAZPI CITY –– Another batch of 10,720 single-dose vials of China-made CoronaVac arrived Wednesday, July 9, at the Legazpi Domestic Airport for the medical frontline workers, senior citizens, and persons with comorbidities, the Department of Health (DOH) here said.
The vaccines arrived aboard a Cebu Pacific commercial flight from Manila around 11 a.m. in this city.
The doses were immediately brought to the DOH storage facility in this city for inventory and distribution to Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, and Sorsogon provinces.
Of these 10,720 vaccine doses, Camarines Sur is set to receive 4,780, Sorsogon 3,600, Albay 1,940, and Camarines Norte 400 doses.
The DOH central office will also deliver more vaccines in separate shipments of 15,760 doses on June 13 and 2,320 on June 11 to Bicol.
