Mass vaccination vs COVID-19 in Bacolod City to resume

BACOLOD CITY –– The mass vaccination against COVID-19 in this city would resume within the week, said City Administrator Em Ang.

The mass vaccination, she said, would be held at the SMX Convention Center, Ayala Malls Capitol Central, and the barangays.

It will cover residents belonging to the A1 to 3 categories: health care workers, senior citizens, and persons with comorbidities.

As of June 4, the Emergency Operations Center and the COVID-19 Vaccination Council of Bacolod have administered 37,150 doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

Of the number, have been 15,432 were inoculated with the Sinovac vaccine, while 21,718 were given doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
