The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), in its Sunday afternoon bulletin, said this is due to the habagat or the southwest monsoon prevailing in Luzon and parts of Visayas, while the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) prevails in entire Mindanao.

In Luzon, Metro Manila is projected to have temperatures ranging from 27 to 31 degrees Celsius; Tagaytay City at 23 to 30 degrees Celcius; Baguio City at 17 to 24 degrees Celsius; Laoag City at 27 to 31 degrees Celcius; Legazpi City at 26 to 33 degrees Celsius; Tugegarao City at 26 to 35 degrees Celsius; and Puerto Princesa City, with 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.

In the Visayas, Cebu is projected to have temperatures ranging from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius; Iloilo, 25 to 33 degrees Celsius; and Tacloban at 26 to 32 degrees Celcius.

In Mindanao, Zamboanga City will have 25 to 34 degrees Celsius; Cagayan de Oro, 24 to 32 degrees Celcius; and 24 to 31 degrees Celsius in Davao City.

Meanwhile, no gale warning is raised with the northern, eastern, and western parts of the country to experience moderate sea conditions. The country’s southern part is projected to have slight to moderate sea conditions.
