3 high-value drug suspects arrested in QC

MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested three high-value drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said operatives from its Police Station 7 arrested the fourth most wanted drug personality in the area during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. E. Rodriguez, Cubao last Thursday.

The suspect was identified as Bernadette Berdadero, 49. She yielded 35 grams of crystal meth or “shabu” worth an estimated P238,000.

Operatives from the QCPD- Police Station 3 also arrested on Thursday the third most wanted drug suspect in its jurisdiction in Brgy. Tandang Sora.

The suspects were identified as Raymundo Cortez, 35, and Jennifer Lumadilla, 41. Recovered from them were 10 grams of shabu worth an estimated P68,000.

On Friday, Police Station 1 operatives arrested the top 10 drug personality in the area in a drug sting in Brgy. San Isidro Labrador.

Arrested was Michael Selga, 31. Seized from his were three grams of shabu worth P13,600.

The arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
