THE body of a farmer was found riddled with bullets in his home in Tagbubonga, a mountain barangay in Asturias town, western Cebu.
No one saw who killed Raning Capuno or could tell police possible motive of the attack.
Chief tanod Glenmar Ramos said the burst of gunfire was heard coming from the victim’s house.
Barangay officials who went to the house found Capuno dead. Ramos told police that they immediately left the house for fear that the assailant was still there.
Barangay officials waited for the sun to rise before reporting the crime to the police.
