Angeles City logs 5 new COVID-19 deaths

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga –– Five more residents in this city died due to COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths due to the disease to 266, the city government disclosed Thursday (June 3).

In its bulletin, the city government said the new COVID-19 fatalities were residents of the villages of Salapungan, Sto. Domingo, and Sto. Rosario.

At least 23 new infections were also added to the city’s 5,963 COVID-19 cases, of which 379 are active.

Ninety-eight patients have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of healed patients to 5,318.

As of June 3, the city government said 23,926 residents received the first dose of either Sinovac or AstraZeneca vaccine, while 4,905 were fully vaccinated. INQ
