SM 2 SM Run 2 fires off today

AROUND 4,000 runners will answer the starting gun for the second edition of the SM-2-SM run today at the SM City Cebu.

The 21k category will have 1,000 runners while 60 couples will run in the 12k and 21k couples category. 800 runners will compete in the 12k and the rest of the 4,000 runners will join the shorter 6k and 3k categories.

Dr. Potenciano “Yong” Larrazabal III, the organizer of the event, said Jollibee will sponsor foods for the runners after the race.

The entire South Coastal Road will be closed from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. to give way to the runners in the 21k. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
