Upon uprooting the plants, they were immediately burned.

“As part of Cleanliness in the Community aspect of our Internal Cleanliness Policy, our marijuana eradication operation nationwide will continue, at sisiguraduhin nating mahuhuli at mananagot sa batas ang lahat ng mga hindi pa rin tumitigil  sa pagtatanim ng pinagbabawal na uri ng halaman (and we will make sure that all those who continue to cultivate the banned plants will be caught and held accountable),” Eleazar said.
