TAGBILARAN CITY – At least three earthquakes shook some parts of Bohol on Wednesday afternoon, June 2.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said a 1.5 magnitude quake struck the western part of Carmen town followed by a 2.5 magnitude tremor in the eastern portion of the municipality at around 2:21 p.m.

Moments later, a 3.2 magnitude quake was felt in San Miguel town.

The quakes were tectonic in origin, Phivolcs said.
