COVID-19 death toll in Zambales rises to 57
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– Four new deaths related to COVID-19 were recorded in this province, an official said Tuesday.
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said those who died were a 28-year-old man in Palauig town, a 53-year-old woman in Castillejos, a 78-year-old man in Subic, and an 85-year-old woman in Masinloc.
Their deaths brought to 57 the province’s latest tally of COVID-19 fatalities.
Bueno said three patients had also recovered from the disease, pushing Zambales’ total number of recoveries to 1,995.
As of Tuesday, the province had 2,499 total confirmed COVID-19 cases since the pandemic started last year.
