MANILA, Philippines — A symbolic vaccination for economic frontliners or those under the A4 priority group will be done on June 7, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said Wednesday, as government awaits for the bulk of the procured vaccines to arrive this month.

“Meron po kaming mini rollout, symbolic rollout this coming June 7,” Galvez said in an interview over ABS-CBN News Channel after being asked when the vaccination of the A4 group will begin.

Galvez said the A4 group’s vaccination will officially start once the bulk of vaccines arrives this June.

“Medyo okay na ang supply this mid of June,” he said.

Once the vaccination of A4 priority group starts, Galvez said LGUs may give preference to persons 40 years old and above.
