MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar berated the policeman who was caught on video shooting a 52-year-old woman in cold blood at the back of the head in Quezon City.

In a 30-second video posted by the PNP on its social media accounts, Eleazar could be seen, in clips, shouting at suspect Police Master Sergeant Hensie Zinampan, holding him by the shirt and pushing him against the wall.

He could also be seen pointing angrily at the face of the cop.

“Anong inisip mo bakit ginawa mo yun? Sumagot ka! May pamilya ka ba? May asawa ka? May anak ka?” he asked Zinampan.

(What were you thinking when you did that? Answer me! Do you have a family? Do you have a wife? Do you have children?)

“Anong tingin mo sa ibang tao, ha? Anong tingin mo sa mga tao para gawin yun? Tang*na ka, hirap na hirap tayo para ayusin itong organization, tapos yun lang ang gagawin mo?” he added

(What do you think of other people for you to do that? You son of a b*tch, we are trying so hard to fix this organization and that’s what you’re going to do?)

Zinampan was allegedly drunk when he confronted and shot dead the victim Lilybeth Valdez, who was only buying cigarettes at a store in Barangay Greater Fairview.

The incident happened on Monday night at about 9:30 p.m.

Eleazar earlier said he already instructed police officials to expedite the investigation against Zinampan, saying criminal and administrative charges will be filed against the policeman.

He also apologized to the family of the victim.
