4 drug suspects nabbed in Camarines

LEGAZPI CITY –– Four illegal drug suspects were arrested Tuesday morning in separate drug stings in Naga City in Camarines Sur and Mercedes town in Camarines Norte.

Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said the drug operation yielded 16 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P127,500.


In Mercedes, Siegfrid Senes, 40, a resident of Barangay 2, was collared around 12:30 a.m. when police, armed with a search warrant, recovered five sachets of shabu weighing 15 grams in his house.

In Naga City, police arrested Julius Ty, 32; Sigfredo Agdoro, 42; and Manjo Javier, 27, all of Barangay Concepcion Pequeña, when they sold shabu to an undercover agent.


They yielded a sachet of shabu worth P7,500 and marked money.

The suspects were taken to a police facility, while charges for possession and trading of illegal drugs under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are prepared against them.
