MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau on Thursday said a low pressure area (LPA) was spotted off Mindanao.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), in its early morning weather bulletin, reported that the LPA was last spotted 2,489 kilometers east of Mindanao and is still too far to affect the country.
The intertropical convergence zone, meantime, will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Visayas and Mindanao.
The easterlies are affecting the rest of the country.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have fair weather with isolated rains.
From Friday to Sunday, Metro Manila will have sunny weather with chances of isolated rains or localized thunderstorms.
