COA flags DOLE bureau over unliquidated funds

COA tabs Zambales for buying P61M-worth of food, supplies from dubious vendors

The Commission on Audit (COA) has flagged the Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns of the Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) over the P64.4-million unliquidated fund transfers for sugar industry workers affected by the pandemic. The COA said the funds intended as financial assistance to the affected workers had remained unliquidated.
