At present, the easterlies or the warm winds blowing from the Pacific Ocean largely affect the Philippines’ climate.
Pagasa said flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms and so residents in these areas are advised to be on alert and seek safety if needed.
A portion of Palawan will experience moderate winds as well as moderate coastal conditions, the weather bureau also said, while the Visayas region and the rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate sea situation.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters will likewise occur in Mindanao, it added.
