Hot, humid Monday with a chance of rain nationwide – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Hot and humid weather with possible rain showers in the afternoon and evening are expected nationwide due to the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Monday.

“Sa kasalukuyan patuloy pa ring nakakaapekto ang easterlies sa halos buong kapuluan. Ito ay nagdadala ng mainit at maalinsangang panahon sa ating bansa,” Pagasa weather specialist Meno Mendozasaid in a weather forecast.

(The easterlies continue to affect almost the entire archipelago. It will cause hot and humid weather in the country.)

“Posible pa rin ang pagkakaroon ng panandaliang buhos ng ulan lalo na sa dakong hapon at gabi,” he added.

(Isolated rain showers may still occur especially in the afternoon and evening.)

Meanwhile, Mendoza also said there is no gale warning currently raised in any part of the country’s waters.

Metro Manila: 26 to 35 degrees Celsius
Baguio City: 17 to 26 degrees Celsius
Laoag City:  25 to 34 degrees Celsius
Tuguegarao: 26 to 39 degrees Celsius
Legazpi City: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
Puerto Princesa City: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
Tagaytay: 23 to 33 degrees Celsius
Kalayaan Islands: 26 to 31 degrees Celsius
Iloilo City: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
Cebu: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
Tacloban City: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
Cagayan De Oro City: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
Zamboanga City: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
Davao City: 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
