MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Three persons each from Angeles City and the City of San Fernando succumbed to COVID-19 recently.
In its May 22 COVID-19 update, the Angeles City local government said the latest COVID-19 deaths were reported and recorded in Barangays Balibago, Cutcut, and Sapangbato.
In the City of San Fernando, two persons from Barangay Panipuan and one from Barangay Del Pilar likewise died of COVID-19.
Angeles City has recorded a total of 250 deaths out of a total 5,620 COVID-19 cases. A total of 4,877 patients have so far recovered.
The city also reported 44 new cases, bringing the number of active cases to 493.
As of May 22, the City of San Fernando has so far recorded 4,571 COVID-19 cases, 3,839 recoveries, and 153 deaths.
There are still 589 active cases.
Meanwhile, Mabalacat City recorded a total of 377 active cases with the addition of 16 new cases on Saturday.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the city is 2,874.
The Department of Health COVID-19 tracker page showed that Pampanga has 19,729 COVID-19cases as of May 22.
